Isabel Alfarrobinha was born 1963 in Germiston, South Africa.Where he attended primary and secondary school.
She spent her childhood in Johannesburg and the colours of Africa have always been with her since then.
1976 He came to Portugal where he studied Art & Design
2002 Attended Fine Arts atelier.
2003 Attended a course in “Contemporary Art At the Serralves Foundation, Porto.
2003 Attended “Materials and Methods in Works of Art” course at Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon.
He started teaching painting in a private studio this year and became a member of Artiset (association of plastic artists from Setúbal).
Living in Portugal, she puts in her artwork the spirit of Africa. Her inspiration comes from nature and anything that touches her feelings. The sea, countryside, cities, old houses, florals, etc.
All that is different in forms,textures and colours.
Isabel also teaches Painting in her private atelier. She takes place in workshops and enjoys plain air painting.
She is mentioned in the 11th International Modern Art Catologue, published in Itaty

Isabel participated in a lot of Collective and Individual Exhibitions. Her work's are presented in several private collections and in public and private institutions in Portugal and abroad ( Spain, Italy, France, Brasil, etc.).
