Eliane Maria Mendonça Moreira Ropelato (Nane Ropelato).
The brush slides over the silk. Gently draws the spread of paint. It's a sign of art. So this is the life of Eliane Maria Mendonça Moreira Ropelato, the Nane Ropelato. She’s born artist on November 24, 1953 in Rio do Sul, State of Santa Catarina – Brazil. Married with Carlos Ropelato, mother of Renê Ropelato, Michele Ropelato and Bruno Ropelato. The couple have a grand daugther living in Italy, Anna Almonti. After her wary hands, the silk is no longer as it was before. With her touch, turn the silk, the watercolor, the porcelain, the acrylic an artistic expression. Self-taught in paintings: watercolor, oil, acrylic and pure silk, where sensitivity is present in written and visual art.

• 2017 - Individual UNIDAVI (University Center for the Development of the Vale do Itajaí). International Workshop: "A path to global sustainability". Brazil and the United Kingdom.
• 2017 - Winner of the Nodgi Pellizzetti Prize for Incentive to Culture 2017 (execution 2018) in the category of Visual Arts with the project: “Arte Cidade: Rio do Sul através da ótica e sensibilidade de Nane Ropelato” ("Art City: Rio do Sul through the optics and sensibility of Nane Ropelato").
